How Certifier integrates with Google Forms
Certifier connects to Google Forms through Google Sheets, where every new form submission is collected as a structured row. The moment a new row appears, Certifier reads it and issues a certificate, badge, or digital credential from your template, then emails it to the recipient automatically.
You map your columns to the credential just once during setup. Name and email determine who receives the certificate and where it is sent, while details like course, score, or date carry through onto the certificate itself with no manual work or file uploads.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. The credential Certifier issues is set by your template, not by the form, so you can issue a digital badge, a certificate, or both from the same Google Forms response. Choose the design in your Credential Template, and every new response issues that credential type automatically.
No account is needed. Each certificate arrives in the recipient's inbox as a secure PDF, along with a link to its verifiable credential page. There is nothing to sign up for or log into.
Yes. It is included on every Certifier plan, free accounts included, so you can set up automated issuing without upgrading.
Start with a clean response sheet and let real submissions arrive after the automation is active. Duplicates usually come from reused test rows or from inserting new rows above ones Certifier has already processed, so add fresh responses below existing rows and clear out test entries before going live. If a credential needs correcting, fix it in Certifier rather than editing the processed row.
Once the integration is live, it runs on its own and issues from each new response. The one thing to watch is the response sheet: Certifier finds your data by the sheet name, its tabs, and the order of its columns, so renaming the spreadsheet, reordering tabs, rearranging form questions, or moving columns will break the mapping.
Keep new responses landing below the existing rows, each with a valid name and email, and the automation will keep running smoothly. If you need to remap fields or change the credentials, rebuild the automation rather than editing the live one.
