How Certifier integrates with Google Sheets
Certifier connects Google Sheets rows directly to your credentialing process. When you add a new row of recipient data to your spreadsheet, Certifier automatically generates and delivers a certificate, badge, or digital credential using your chosen Credential Template.
Map custom spreadsheet columns to dynamic fields on your certificate. This lets you include unique information like recipient names, course titles, completion dates, and credential IDs on every certificate automatically.

Frequently asked questions
Certifier has a native Google Sheets automation you can connect to your Google account. Once you do that, Certifier monitors your selected Google Sheet. When you add a new row of data, Certifier automatically reads the row, maps the columns to your certificate template, generates the credential, and sends it to the recipient's email.
Yes. You can paste a list of recipient names and emails into your Google Sheet. Certifier will detect the new rows and issue the certificates in bulk. This eliminates the need for manual CSV imports or mail merge setups.
Existing rows may be processed after activation and may count against your usage. For the safest setup, connect a Live Sheet with headers only, then add real recipient data after the automation is active.
Yes. The native Google Sheets integration is available to all Certifier users, including those on the free plan. However, standard monthly issuance limits of your selected plan tier still apply.
Yes. If you spot a typo in a recipient name, you can update it in the Certifier dashboard and resend the corrected certificate. You can also revoke credentials if a student fails to meet completion criteria.
Use Zapier, Make, or another connector when you want to combine certificate issuance with CRM status updates, payment triggers, or multi-app logic. Use the native Google Sheets integration when new rows should issue credentials directly.
